Discipleship : A Journey of Spiritual Growth*

At GLORY RAIN HEALING MINISTRIES, we believe that discipleship is a vital part of the Christian walk. It’s a journey where we guide and support each other in becoming more like Jesus, growing in our faith, and living out God’s purpose.

What is Discipleship?

Discipleship is a process where believers are mentored, taught, and encouraged to follow Jesus, obey His commands, and become like Him (Matthew 28:19-20). It’s about transformation, not just information. We’re talking about a lifestyle change, where our thoughts, words, and actions reflect God’s character.

Key Areas of Focus

Our discipleship class focuses on four key areas:

1. Holiness: Living set apart for God’s purpose. We explore what it means to be holy, as God is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). This includes practical aspects like purity, obedience, and surrender.
2. Sanctification : Becoming more like Jesus every day. We dive into God’s Word, learning to apply His truth to our lives, and allowing the Holy Spirit to transform us (Romans 12:1-2).
3. Righteousness: Living right in God’s eyes. We study God’s standards, His grace, and how to walk in obedience, reflecting God’s righteousness in our relationships and daily life (Romans 10:3-4).
4. Consecration : Giving our all to God’s service. We explore what it means to live a life surrendered to God, using our gifts, time, and resources for His glory (Romans 12:1).
